Worth It Poem by kaitlin skelding

Worth It

The cold felt like a knife to my face as i left the warmth of my house.
I walked down to the bus stop waiting quietly i see a bright yellow bus coming towards me.
I walk on i walk slowly to the seat i always sit in.
The bus turned and slowly arrived at the next stop
i look out the window at the people who i think live to torment me.
I HATE THEM.
they slowly walk on talking to there friends while i sit there quietly
there lives look perfect compared to mine then there he is luke the one who i can't get over
when i see his big beautiful blues eyes i don't know if i want to smile or cry but then the bus left
then it started people making fun throwing things at me laughing tormenting
i silently sit taking it a few more stops then it is still going if they only knew.
Then we come to the last stop then i see her the one that makes the bus ride
worth it Amber my best friend i always save i seat for her then she sits down with me
then i am (not alone) the teasing stops we talk the rest of the way when i see Amber i know what to do
Smile.
the bus stops at the school me and amber stand then get off we go inside we say see you at lunch
when she says that i have something to look forward too then i go to my locker it starts again i ignore
i walk slowly to my class i see my friends i say hi i sit down then i few minutes later the bell rings
i go to my next tormenting class i sit and see only one image Amber.
