Would-Be Love Story

She wants him.
-He's terrified,
Without knowing why.
She's beautiful,
But for some reason he can't see it.
Any other guy would die to have her.
But she would die to have him.
-He doesn't know it.
He feels terror,
Fear of the unknown,
Of commitment,
Of something,
Driving him away.
He runs.
She cries,
And waits,
Hoping he'll return.
