Would it be a sin not to fall in love
And still love gazing at the Moon all night
Would it be a sin to call it quits bravely
If it somehow just doesn't feel right
Would it be a sin to not stop at the oasis
In the desert sands, ignoring the thirst
Would it be a sin to turn away from relationships
And decide to put ourselves first
Would it be a sin to ignore the rainbow
And focus on the dispersion of light
Would it be a sin to anticipate some magic
And continue to wait for Mr. Right
But I guess that's not what love truly is,
For it's probably the sparkling morning dew
That heals, enlivens, strengthens, and glosses
Even the gentlest flower, washed by storms anew!
