Whats the use of reading the same newspaper everyday?
The only difference is this time a new girl has been the targeted prey!
"A 23 YEAR OLD GIRL RAPED ON HER WAY BACK HOME…"
To such evils all the innocent girls are prone….

How long would we feign…
"oh! People are really not that mean…
It's the news channels that exaggerate…
How can a girl be used as an object of trade..? ? ! ! "

How long will we wear these tinted glasses?
How long this injustice be borne by the masses?
Whats the logic of attending Anna's and Kejri's protests,
Until these poisonous rats(i.e.rapists) are put to death!

These ‘burden of earth' to hell are not sent…
Because government is preoccupied with foreign direct investment!
Is this what equal fundamental rights mean,
Where in every girl's eye insecurity can be seen?

Where should a girl safely hide?
What should their parents do to save their pride?
Who has given these ruthless people this right?
Of this cruelty is there any maximum prescribed height?

At night we usually watch shows like "crime patrol"
Become aware of this evil's indelible mole …
Just giving a thought to this rapidly engulfing fire,
Safely and cosily we retire.

In the morning another new prey is indentified,
"…GIRL RAPED…" another girl of justice thus deprived…
A girl tries along with the morning cup of tea
To be optimistic and falsely assures "would not happen with me…"
