Would You Care? Poem by Megan Frame

Would You Care?

Rating: 5.0

I'm sitting here,
Numbed by pain.
Would you care,
If you ever saw me again?

When I die,
Will you cry?
If I told you how I feel,
Would you care if it was real?

When you look at me,
What exactly do you see?
Just some girl.
Not a gem or pearl.

Nothing special,
Not even a friend.
That's all I'll be
Until the end.

I know what it's like to feel so dicluded from him. It's harder when you used to be his everything. And then they just stop caring.

Of course you're a gem you don't need this guy to reassure that you are
