Would you hold me darlin
As I'm about to pass away
Tell me that you love me
And we'll see a brighter day

Would you kiss me darlin
And tell me how you love me so
For I see the light of eternity
And it looks like I'm about to go

Would you pray for me darlin
For heaven our souls to keep
But don't cry over me my darlin
As I fade away to sleep

Just hold my hand my darlin
And gently rock by my side
As my body lays here on this bed
My souls is reaching the other side

So just hold onto me my darlin
Like you'll never let me go
But I do need to say something first
I want to tell you how 'I LOVE YOU SO'
