Wounded Poem by Sheena Blackhall

Wounded

Odd's Blood! Old bones walk slowly, power gone
Once I could turn a cartwheel in the sun
Our world is wounded. Can it still recover?
Within a woodland, I am All-in-one

Once I could turn a cartwheel in the sun
Blessed be the violet, columbine and clover
Within a woodland, I am All-in-one
Life is a river bubble. Blink, it's over.

Blessed be the violet, columbine and clover
I am the acorn, buzzard, salmon, badger
Life is a river bubble. Blink, it's over.
Each leaf and wave's my father, mother, brother

I am the acorn, buzzard, salmon, badger
Odd's Blood! Old bones walk slowly, power gone
Each leaf and wave's my father, mother, brother
Our world is wounded. Can it still recover?
