Wristband Poem by Andrea Cebrecos

Wristband

Rating: 3.7

He gave her his wristband
A sign of his attachment to her
She mistook it for possessiveness
And wanted to leave it lying in a corner

Her desire of abandoning the gift subsiding
She began to wear it everywhere, proudly
And while she lay in bed at night
She began to notice that their scents were intertwining
