Writer's Block Poem by Kory Lovitt

I had no topic here,
So I wrote about writer's block.
This is when your mind goes blank,
There are no items in stock.
When every idea you think of,
starts off good, then turns bad,
Then you finally get a good one,
and forget what you had.
It can make you feel talentless,
and occasionally dumb.
You sit at a desk for hours,
and your legs turn numb.
Finally, you get one,
Your topic is skyscrapers.
you start on your first stanza,
and realize your out of paper
