Writing Liberally



I wrote comments
liberally
over poems
(like a careless provider
throws excess salt and pepper
over a sandwich)
just so
to increase those on my own

and I wrote yet another poem
(forced it out, like squeezing
hardened mustard paste out of a tube)
just so
to increase my own numbers
