Written Together Poem by Star lynn

Written Together

find you in the spaces between my heartbeats not in the big things,
but in how your name feels like home when it settles on my mind.

You are the gentle light that stays after sunset
the warmth that remains long after the world is still.

If love were a language, I would speak you fluently in every glance
in every breath I didn't know I was holding until you took it from me.

Time is different with you seconds become eternity,
and eternity is not enough to contain all I feel.

If I had the power, I'd inscribe my soul into yours like ink on paper
so even the silence would remember we were written together.
