Wrong Turn Poem by Chey Tru Love

Wrong Turn

I had disregarded and bombarded you
With stipulations and allegations
Because I couldn’t come to the terms
With you cheating on me
I had thought about it a thousand times
Betrayal is the one thing that couldn’t cross my mind
Now I wonder how I even missed the signs
But then again love is what makes you blind
The bitter brokenness of my heart
A beating to my love sick eyes
I thought you were an angel, a blessing in disguise
Fractured to the point it hurts
Where my gleaming eyes now cry
Down a deep dark pool my heart goes
Into a pointless journey it rides
Away from me
I had disregarded and bombarded you
With stipulations and allegations
Because I couldn’t come to terms
Thought love was supposed to be magical
I guess my love took a wrong turn
