Xii Poem by Adegoke Adeola

Xii

To find peace is to reach for your pocket
To find yourself and nothingness
Since you've gotten the bags
You swore you're not going back
To the empty fields full of existence
But you've forgotten that when you leave,
Shadow of a country follows you
Tis a world full of worries and that,
Who dare question God and that,
Tis a crossroad you've to pass and that
But you left to find happiness and that
You're back finding your lost soul
