Yearning For You

Pictured in my head, your eyes and your smile,
Thoughts wonder to a distance for awhile.
Pondering your unvarying happy demeanor soothes my heart,
My fingertips yearn for you when we are apart.
Come forth my love, right through my heart's open door,
Limit the virtual distance between us, come onward for an encore.
