Yes/No Poem by Ragy Sandid

Yes/No

Rating: 4.5

I've said No to my dreams
And Yes to something else
Time flies and it seems
I don't have anything else

I've said Yes to a woman I love
When she said No in return
Regretful I couldn't trap love
In and on me a scar that burns

I've said No to welcome signs
When I should've said Yes
No, that agreement I won't sign
Yet in the end I printed a Yes

I've said Yes when I wanted No
Because all around me whispered it
I stayed when I wanted to go
Now, I'm lost to who whispered it

So many times, the grand prize is No
So many times, the grand prize is Yes
And the end of rafting in high and low
Once counts the prize, More or Less
