Yesterday's Peatbogs? - Poem by Mason Maestro

Presenting the elements of my suggestion
not to keep clutching the reluctance you mentioned
but to acquire the liking for an aftertaste resource
With that and the appeal for a defining recourse
treading yesterday's peatbogs of a meaningless flare
In a dry pub's cozy shelter in County Clare
beside a fire consuming a pint of stout
Avoiding the sog of the clouds raining spout
the slow-growing peat see's damp grazing sheep
Under this thatched roof stone haven countryside deep
Musicians perform the 'Irish folk stomp' rendition
and performing it in the old Celtic tradition
