Yesterday's Tomorrow Poem by Truth Osumareton Egbe

Yesterday's Tomorrow

Tomorrow I'll be great
Tomorrow will be free of hate
Tomorrow I'll stop being late
Tomorrow I'll be governor of my State
But I'll start preparing today, I won't leave my tomorrow to fate

Tomorrow I will impact lots of lives
Tomorrow the world will be so full of love, there will be no slaughtering knives
Tomorrow against fellow humans there will be no strives
Tomorrow the world will be as organized as bee hives
Let's learn today for tomorrow to better our lives

Why leave for tomorrow what can be done this day?
Is not yesterday's tomorrow today?
Do we still have this minute when it is passed away?
Was there not a January before May?
When will we realize that tomorrow has come and is here to stay?
