You Poem by Katherine Bryce

You

You were like the sun,
on a bright shinning day,
now you're like the sun,
on a dark stormy night.

You broke me,
then fixed me,
but still I ended up,
falling apart.

I thought it was better,
because you were there,
but yet all you did,
was make it worse.

Nothing was the same,
when you were there,
but it's even worse,
without you.

If you stay in my life,
I'll be over-joyed,
even if you do end up,
breaking my heart.

I'd rather feel pain,
than nothing at all,
I'd rather keep you in my life,
than let you walk right out.

I know it seems crazy,
but I don't care how badly,
my feelings for you,
ends up hurting me.

I know that I'm,
just your friend,
but to me,
you're so much more.
