You Poem by Serena Blackinton

You

You inspired me to write,
Banished darkness into light,
Mended fragments of my broken dreams,
And took me to where it's as it seems...
Unlike Alice, confused and lost,
Where reality given comes at a cost,
You guide me along without agenda,
And open my mind to a world full of splendour...
In the coldest night you bring me heat,
And snatch victory from the jaws of defeat,
You make me smile even when I'm depressed,
And send me serenity when I become obsessed...
Through it all, I have to wonder,
Is this a spell you've put me under,
When you do, indeed, bring me the sun...
Does this mean that you are the one?
