You - Poem by Guindo Mamadou

The more you hurt me, the more I love you.
My heart is so tiny,
There is no space for hatred.
When you slash up the pipes,
Only the colorless fluid flows free.
When my mind sees you,
Down on me happiness flows.
As love comes into my mind,
Tears travel through the tense tiny tunnels.
When I smell love, you are never far away.
Keep those fiery darts from me away...
And let me love you.
Put the war face down,
And... let me love you.
To find out what it is like to love,
You must deep down into the abyss dive.
You won't see any dove,
But you may see opposites thrive.
