You Poem by Lupita Hernan

You

Rating: 5.0

Your heart is like a maze
A winding road with trickery
Where I get lost and consumed
I begin whole and end staggering
Trying to reattach my limbs
The shattered pieces glue with crazy glue
Crazy for something crazy
I get home and stare at the mirror
Trying to see past the sadness
The façade
The reflection of you I see
And I try to vomit
Empty myself to try to find myself
