You And Me Poem by Candice Renae Williams

You And Me

Rating: 1.5

The young is the keeper,
The sun is the waker,
And moon is the sleeper
Who dreams for you and me.

The old is the knower
The time is the protector
And the fate is the watcher
Who guides both you and me.

The other is the stranger,
The wind is the teacher
And the earth is the giver,
Who aids both you and me.

I am currently writing a book called Zche (notice the word current which entails pages sitting in a pile against my wall) And this is a poem I wrote for it. Kind a strange. Supposed to be a child hood song that Reilyn sings.. Oh well.. I think this cut form is cute as a poem.
