I burnt the pictures,
I turned the flames into ashes,
Just like a drunkard I desire to be,
Never choose to call back my memories anymore,
Like a butterfly Swiftly I dangle to my domicile,
I found refuge among the trees, I dozed off,
The chirping songs of the night crickets,
Is what I can comprehend tonight,
Like oasis in dessert, you appeared in my head,
With your charming smile you pulled me closer,
You brought me back to love, the feelings
The affection, the emotions I choose to elude,
Are now within my reach, I open eyes,
Uhh, am dreaming but the feelings is real,
You are evil, you took my heart away,
And gave me yours to hold,
Your heart the gold I rejected,
Please bring me back to life
I never choose to love again,
Your heart the gold I rejected, Please bring me back to life I never choose to love again, sadness, love, its mysteries, promises, , breaking away from a relationship...... all so well depicted in your poem dear poet. thank u. tony
