You Are Forgiven Poem by James Carson

You Are Forgiven

On day I was praying, 'dear Lord forgive me.
I sin everyday but I try to follow the way.

Then I heard the Master say, 'I am the Truth, the Light and the way'.

You were forgiven, when you let me in.
You were forgiven, for all of your sin.

I took all your worries, sin and disdain,
when on the cross I was slain.

You are forgiven, because I came to save,
You were forgiven, when I came out of the grave.

You are forgiven, My Father sent me,
Life everlasting is what you will see.

A mansion in Heaven, streets made of gold.
Milk and honey and you will never grow old.

You are forgiven, now go spread the word.
Many will suffer because they have never heard.

I am with you every where you go.
You are forgiven, My Father said so.
