It is the moment when you kiss me
And hug me that I feel the pain
Thinking all the while
In said close, tender moment
The shortness of space
Between us
The acceptance that the kiss
The passion shall be short
Time kills
Time buries me again
On the widening space of emptiness
We left behind us
When you close your eyes
And without a word
You shall go
And be in the arms that own you
