You Are Seen Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

You Are Seen

A shadow falls, a sudden chill,
When joy was bright and heart was still.
A tiny doubt, a whispered dread,
Can fill my mind, can fill my head.

Then faith awakes, a gentle gleam,
A trust in something, more than a dream.
It holds me steady, calms the storm,
Keeps my spirit safe and warm.

When grief is deep or bliss takes flight,
This steady faith makes burdens light.
It whispers softly, 'You are seen, '
By love divine, forever keen.

If I release each anxious hold,
To higher hands, a story told,
Of burdens lifted, spirits free,
Then peace will bloom, inside of me.
