You are the truth
You hold all wisdom
It lies in you.
You are the root
We are the branches
Let us bear fruit.
You are the current
We are the drops that fill
And when the storm arises
You speak peace and we are stilled.
Cradling the universe
You call the stars by name
They know your power
Declare your reign.
You are the answer

You are love
In its purest form
You are all goodness
You do no wrong,
In you lies mercy
You breathe out grace
Overflowing in your thoughts of us
Never far away.
You are the answer

Keep all your promises
You have always been
You are faithful in entirety
The end and the beginning
Speak again Lord speak again
Make real a dream,
From where comes my hope?
In whom does my heart rest?
Who chases darkness away with the morning?
