You Break Yourself Poem by Matthew Petranovich

You Break Yourself

Rating: 4.0

One time,
I looked up
at the sky,
and realized,
you break yourself.
You put yourself,
in the negative,
and can't get help,
You need to get up
and feel great,
the bad feelings
put behind you,
forget about mistakes.
Make yourself,
what you want to be,
don't put yourself,
through a bunch of
misery.
Because in the end,
you break yourself,
everytime you have
an emotional break
down.
Just glue yourself
together,
and try it again,
who said you need
help from a friend.
Yea they're great
when you want some support,
but only you can
heal your broken
self,
Only you got the power,
to put the pieces back
together.
