You Can Hear It In The Streets Poem by Mohammad Younus

You Can Hear It In The Streets

You can hear it in the streets,
In the heart's hidden chambers,
High upon the crown,
Resurrection calls from the dead.

Woven in divine melodies,
Played on a stringless harp,
Not on man-made harp.

In broad daylight,
And in darkness that cloaks night,
You can hear it,
But the divine light
In the heart's lighthouse,
The divine flame's light
Hides from mortal eyes.

Eternity calls from the beginning,
Whispering:
Am I not your reality?
Your light and your music

Resurrection calls,
Bringing life
From the dead.
