You Can't Have Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

You Can't Have

An open book,
you study this,
I've made you look
You taking notice
staring far, staring wide
I hold your focus
it is found in your eyes
Not something you can hide
let's go for a little ride

You must think that you qualify
Your application has been denied
from the moment i would talk to you
I had known that you just won't do

Off the market you want me now
Back then you never made a sound

I should tell you, you're not my type
Alot of bark comes with this bite
like to say,
i think you're nice,
your heart spins like the dice
cause really love is a gamble
this will turn into a scandal
Ain't no need to go there,
Are you not even aware?
