You Don'T Need Poem by Patrick Calleja

You Don'T Need

Rating: 3.9

You don't need make up to look pretty
Beautiful you already are without
Why sit you, and cover yourself
Why cover your beauty with layers
My sweet love I do bid you
That a man who may not view your features without
A fool he is indeed as the treasure was always there

You don't need to dress fancy to look pretty
Beautiful you were before, no more after
My sweet love I do bid you
If it takes a fool a fancy dress to wake up
And realise how gorgeously beautiful you are
Then no such a fool should ever deserve your sweet love

You don't need to wear heels to look elegant
Beautiful you were before, no more after
Why sit you in agony and pain
Just to look any more elegant
But my sweet love I do bid you
The heels do not make you any more beautiful
Than you very much already are
Only a fool would put a woman through so much pain
Just with a fool's thought that she would look more beautiful

You don't need to spend bags of money on your hair
Just every time that you go out
My sweet love I do bid you
Only fools look for beauty which lies alone in hair
Only fools are blind in their eyes and their heart
And may not understand where true beauty lies

You don't need to use nail polish to look more attractive
Only fools are attracted by such hollow things
Only fools would look for such things in a woman
My sweet love I do bid you
A fool isn't what you're looking for
A fool doesn't know how to care for a sweet woman like you

You don't need to do anything to look beautiful
My sweet love I do bid you
You are already beautiful
And there is nothing in this world
Which could make you any more beautiful, but only less
And my sweet love I do bid you
How lucky would I be, to have a sweet girl like you
How I would cherish you, sweet little valentine
