You Don'T Notice The Wind Poem by Brian Kilpatrick

You Don'T Notice The Wind

You don't notice the wind
Until you're raking the leaves
You don't notice the cold
Until you're living on the streets
You don't notice the hungry
Until your child is unfed
You don't notice the guns
Until there pointing at you head
And you haven't lived
Until your heart has been bled
