i could stand there
and watch him take you away
i can bare the pain
knowing happiness found you
for there's a part of me that knows
our love was real
even if it was for a day
i watch the concern on your face
but smiled back cause
this is your place
you found love and
am happy for you
walking away reminiscing
on me and you
for a moment it seemed
crazy but we went
through with it
i am happy you found
someone's arms to call your home
a part of me would have
loved it to be mine
but i'll value our
friendship for a life time
