You Got To Move On Poem by J.B. LeBuert

You Got To Move On

You got to move on, you got to keep dancing.
Keep shuffling your feet, step lively, keep prancing.
Life is for the living and not for the dead.
You can change the world, if that's in your head.

Don't let depression take your breath away.
Don't let the blues rule your day.
Paint your smile on your face today,
And before long, it's there to stay.

It's not so bad to revisit the past.
More often than not, our memories are vast.
It's better though, to visit the future you see,
Looking ahead and making plans is free.

Stagnation is a state of mind to flee from.
Changes are always better, try and make some.
Life is a road and the journey is sweet.
Just keep dancing and moving your feet.
