i sit in this car it's full
yet, it feels empty
it's crowded
but feels like no one's around me
home
that's the place we return to
that's the last place i wanna go though
cuz i know that once i'm back
you won't be there

to a new place
in a new state

but you're the one i won't get to see
if i just had one more day with you
i would have gone all the way
and done everything
why must you leave
you don't want to go

we get closer with every corner
