You Incite Me Poem by Bull Hawking

You Incite Me

Rating: 5.0

You incite me to write
When wisdom would say
tom-foolery
I've been anchored to stodgy
All my life
But I whittle on their ropes
Cuss and call 'um dopes

I look to you for insight
Insight into us
Baby I know you
like you know the
Back of your bustle
You know me like
Like my shoulder
knows your tears

I want to incite you
to love like a riot in a rickshaw
But you're way ahead of this
Then like you incited me
With all your insight
I'll go blind to lesser things
And lemmings
you incite me to see you
In my favorite things
