you said come sit on the floor next to me so i won't be alone
i wanted you to hold me so i didn't hesitate to come
your arms were so warm i didn't want to let go
but i opened my eyes and saw that you were gone

it was all a dream again
i'll never have what i had then

i cried worthless tears over you
raped by emotion cause i didn't want to
so get mad at me, put on me the blame
