Falling down into darkeness
here you could fade you could fade away
forever looking for the blinding sunshine
that wont break through the cloudy day
better treat life like a loaded gun
take your best shot
aim it at the sun
and you'll find yourself alone

Breaking deep into the surface now
you can feel you can feel it burn away
digging yourself deeper still
always looking for a different day
better treat life a sharpened knife
take your best shot
aim it at the night
and you'll find yourself alone

Starry skies fade slowly into black
here you can see you can see them fall away
creeping up to find somewhere safe
crawling away to find a new way back
better treat life like a flying bird
take your best shot
aim it at everyone else first
and you'll find yourself alone

Jump back down into the dark once more
you can hear you can hear the echo ache
tearfull eyes straining to see what's right
always staring down at what you couldnt take
better treat life like a fallen star
take your best shot
aim it at your heart
