You Mean So Much To Me Poem by Dustin MacDougall

You Mean So Much To Me

I wish I could fight my way to see you
theres nothing i wouldn't go through
just to see your pretty eyes
one last time, before i die
or just to lie next to you and watch the sunset
but i have nothing left
im running on empty, running on nothing but hope
some people might call me stupid
for hanging on too you still, but by my weak will
theres nothing i wont fulfill to see you again
the picture of you in my mind, will always remain
but i cant explain how much you mean to me
no one will ever see it.
the passion that erupts from my every bone
when you and i were alone
i would atone for my past mistakes
and show you that they were just a part of my past
i would hopefully take your heart back...
