You Never Knew Poem by Silence Dogood

You Never Knew

You never knew what you did to her.
She crys before her crumbled world.
That you crushed and broke apart.
Torn and left with a broken heart.
Her cuts and bruises mark her past.
Her smile and pain under the mask.
Her body and soul will crumble away.
Wishing only that you could stay.
All the memories put behind
To open at a better time.
Where she doesnt have to cut herself to feel something.
When shes good enough to be your everything
And someday her world will be one again
Shes says one day but i dont know when.
Because her scars cannot heal.
Her broken heart cannot be sealed.
With everything youve done to her.
You'd expect her to feel the hurt
But inside shes all but numb.
Wishing all but for you to come.
As her hero to this day.
You washed her smile right off her face.
Taken apart she still can laugh.
Still has a smile even with only half.
The heart
That you tore apart
Shes still that girl
With a crumbled world
Her broken heart
That you tore apart
Makes her the girl who cuts and bleeds
Bleeds her love to everything.
