I play words
Coz I'm good at expressing
You played my heart
Coz you were good at breaking
I play rhymes
Coz I'm good at rhyming
You played my times
And faked promise
I played with your hair
Coz you used to like it
Into my eyes you stared
Holding me blind to it
You played smart
And made me bad at cry
You played my trust
Leaving me to die
You gave me scars
And I still pretend fine
I trusted in you when
Once you said you're mine
You ripped my soul
Taking all your joy
You played me
Like your favourite toy
