You'Re Always Here Poem by Casey Gochnour

You'Re Always Here

And although I don’t see you,
My heart reaches over the miles.
Taking your hand to light my soul anew,
Together walking in darkness with stretched smiles.

Lights shine bright, illuminating the sky,
Ascending into the night, stars shining,
Running into the air, we’ll begin to fly.
Skin running over skin, down your fine lining.

And although I don’t see you,
I always feel you near.
Your heart shines through,
It lights up the night, my dear.

Your beautiful soul, your beautiful light,
Such a divine and wondrous being.
And although you’re so far out of sight,
There’s still every part of you I’m seeing.

And although I don’t see you,
This love, this feeling, can’t be seen, and though,
I still have you here, like I used to.
Just by having you in my life,
I have everything.

I love you.
