You'Re Not Worth It Poem by Mel Cooper

You'Re Not Worth It

Why did you kiss my skin?
And bruise the soul that is within?
I thought I was the one to blame
But you're the one that caused me pain

You're not worth the tears I've cried
You're not worth the fears inside
You're not worth the pain you've caused
You're not worth all my closed doors

I want to forget what you did
Why did you pick on a kid?
Did you think it was fair to do?
When all I did wrong was trust you?
