You Sat On The Beach Poem by Vera Sidhwa

You Sat On The Beach

You Sat on the Beach

The exploding afternoon sun,
Made your body feel an exuberance,
That made,
Your aspect turn so dreamily.

The evening sun in orange,
Made you feel a bit happy,
But not as happy as you could be.
The evening sun sank in the sky.

The day's events on the beach,
Were something you seeked.
You felt so otherwise meek,
But now you were exuberant.

You sat on the beach,
With sunshine in and around you.
You felt good inside of you.
You sat on the beach.
