You See With Your Smile Poem by Adam Collins

You See With Your Smile

You see with your smile
But do you truly comprehend happiness
Have they blinded your sights?

When you wake you will feel the sun
But will your skin respond with sweat
Or chills at another toast like morning
Charred and crumbling
Waiting to be smeared with your deceit and lies

I speak to you now as a messenger
For I am only a messenger
That is my purpose

You must be awake...
But why will you still not open your eyes?
