You Still Hurt Me Poem by Abby Belmont

You Still Hurt Me

Why do you keep staring,
Does it look like I'm even caring,
You ended it all,
And your to blame for my fall

I wish it wasnt like this,
But you wanted a life without my bliss,
Theres nobody with love like me,
And one day you'll see

Im not the pretties girl,
But I'd love you more than anybody in the world,
Now theres hate building up inside,
I'll meet you at the end of the bumpy ride

If you loved me you wouldn't hurt me,
But instead you made me want to be nothing but a lonely tree,
Feel dead and invisible,
Made my mind once again unstable

I hold out my arms to show,
How deep all the cuts can go,
It wouldv'e been easier to kill me,
But instead you left the pain just be

I'm just a ghost I can't hurt you anymore,
And everyday a new sore,
My life is never complete,
I'm just good for defeat.
