Which fell on me as a flower
Triggering instant transformation
From the moment I met you
Seconds, minutes went on to hours, days
To go into weeks, months, years
Signaling a lifetime bond

Your memories occupy the mind all the time
The way you speak, the way you laugh, the way you sing
The way you sway your head, the way you dance
All appear new, fresh and sweet
More I see More I want to see more of you
More I want to be with you

The lightning that struck has grown into a tree of love
Unrootable by the stormy vagaries of life
Happy days have begun
They are here to stay!
