You Torture Me Poem by Bilal Khoukhi

You Torture Me

Rating: 4.0

I turned from the sadist I was
To the masochist I never thought to be
Squeeze my heart
It tickles
I don't enjoy it it but I let you torture me
I allow myself to miss you
In the middle of the night
And at the head of every hour
And every time I breath
Love is not my cup of tea
I will explore the old land
Looking for a new profession
I'll read the old scriptures
In hope to find a spell
To turn my heartbeat
Into words that call your name
Just wait for me, or don't
I'll travel back in time
Right before you broke my heart
Or perhaps before I fell in love
So I can see the good in you
And fall in love with you once more
