You've Changed Poem by Jack Kennedy

You've Changed

Rating: 5.0

Yes, the red dress does makes you look fat
But not half as much as the one you wore last night.
And no, I don't like your 'adorable'cat.
He sheds on my suits and shrieks with delight

Your toenails are many shades of pink
You leave frilly things all over the floor.
I find lipstick and toothpaste in the sink
And why do you not shut the bathroom door?

I fear for our lives when you drive the car
Red-lights are something you seldom see.
Friday nights, you hang with the girls at the bar.
When you're home...you barely have time for me

You criticize and cajole me every day of the week
You're not happy unless it's done exactly your way...
cigarette voice has become your 'normal speak'
And your clothes carry the odor of ' ashtray'

Your new stilettos have made dents in the floor
Your moods ebb & flow like a person deranged
It's hard to sleep at night hearing you snore.
Seriously Charles, I don't love you anymore....
You've changed.

Red-lights are something you seldom see. These give fear as you have changed. Wonderful humor is expressed...10
