YOU WERE NOT DESTINED TO BE MINE

Alas! You were not destined to be mine.
Still my love for you is always eternal.
Before you came into my life I was like wanderer
in vast desert in search of mirage.

Oh may love! Your advent was like long awaited
dawn of Spring after never ending autumn in my life.

Alas! our togethernesswas for a short spell like a rainbow
amidst dark rain clouds! Indeed you loved me for my sake
Your love made me realise this life is worth living.
Love is best gift of almighty to men on earth.

Oh my love! How can I forget your those tear filled
eyes just before we parted.When you said take care
and you would always be mine till eternity.
An expression of your undying love fore me.
Those words still live deep down in my soul,

Oh may love! There were many but none like you.I live
with deep regret destiny took you away but you will
remain within me while my sojourn on earth.
Yes my love! I still live with smile when with friends
as promised to you but the pang separation
keeps me a wake whole night.Even night goes to sleep!

Oh men! it is wrong to say love is a curse.Love gives life.
Beloved love resides deep down in our soul

Yes; my love you are omnipresent. I feel your presence
in the morning breeze, Moonlit night, floating clouds in
sky, dancing branches of trees in ecstasy and bliss,
mighty sea waves inspiring humanity to live on, buds blossoming
into flowers, musical rain, dancing dear and peacock in
lush green meadows.

Yes my love; the days spent together will remain ever green
because true love is rooted in soul and so we live together
like one soul in two bodies! ! !
